Andrea M. Weltman joined Morrissey, Hawkins & Lynch in March 2005 and became a partner with the firm in 2017. Andrea concentrates her practice in the areas of estate planning, probate and estate administration, and trust administration. Andrea prepares comprehensive estate plans for clients, handles the probate administration of estates, prepares federal and state estate tax returns and counsels clients on asset ownership, gifting, tax planning, business organization and succession, planning for retirement assets, planning for individuals with special needs and prenuptial planning. Andrea serves as a professional fiduciary in addition to advising non-professional fiduciaries on the administration of trusts and estates. Andrea is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Boston Bar Association, and the Boston Estate Planning Council.

Andrea completed her first year of law school at Tulane University School of Law and earned her Juris Doctor from Northeastern University School of Law in 2004. While attending Tulane University, Andrea was a recipient of the CALI Excellence for the Future Award. During the completion of her legal studies at Northeastern University, Andrea served as a legal intern for the Honorable Raymond J. Brassard of the Massachusetts Superior Court and worked for the Massachusetts State Senate Office of Legal Counsel. Before attending law school, Andrea graduated, with honors, from Lehigh University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.

Andrea lives in Newton with her husband, Jeremy, and their four children, Jack, Emma, Henry, and Lilah.
